DESTINO EUROPA: HACIA LA INTERNACIONALIZACIÓN, INNOVACIÓN Y MEJORA EDUCATIVA DE NUESTRO CENTRO

Nuestro instituto está situado en Porcuna, una pequeña localidad de la provincia de Jaén. La principal ocupación de sus 6283 habitantes es la recolección de la aceituna. Debido a su contexto rural y aislado, existe una baja tasa de
empleabilidad. En relación a nuestro instituto, es el único centro de educación en el área, albergando 450 alumnos de 4 pueblos diferentes y 45 profesores.

Iniciamos el proyecto Erasmus KA101 “DESTINO EUROPA: HACIA LA INTERNACIONALIZACIÓN, INNOVACIÓN Y MEJORA EDUCATIVA DE NUESTRO CENTRO”, con una duración de dos años (hasta diciembre 2022) y con perspectivas de continuar con un KA2. Entre los objetivos que queremos conseguir:

1. Promover la internacionalización para mejorar la empleabilidad de nuestros alumnos. Conseguir una red de contactos para elaborar un KA2.
2. Formar al profesorado en metodología cooperativa y gamificación para mejorar los resultados académicos y motivar al alumnado.
3. Conocer el método AICLE (Aprendizaje integrado de Contenido y Lenguas Extranjeras) y su aplicación en otros
   centros europeos.
4. Conocer buenas prácticas de atención a la diversidad en otros centros europeos, para desempeñar una atención más personalizada.
   

Con estos objetivos en mente, queremos realizar cuatro experiencias de observación en centros de Francia, Grecia e Italia, con el fin de importar buenas prácticas y mejorar nuestra competencia docente. Los diferentes temas de nuestro interés serán la mejora de la competencia lingüística, gamificación, aprendizaje activo, estrategias de motivación como Mindfulness, metodología Aprendizaje Integrado de Contenido y Lenguas Extranjeras (AICLE) aplicada a la enseñanza de filosofía, matemáticas y tecnología y herramientas para atender a la diversidad.

De igual modo, la localidad también se beneficiarán de este impacto, al involucrar a todos los miembros de la comunidad educativa y colaborar con el AMPA, las instituciones y empresas locales y el Ayuntamiento de Porcuna.

EUROPE DESTINATION: TOWARDS THE INTERNATIONALIZATION, INNOVATION AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT OF OUR CENTER

Our institute is located in Porcuna, a small town in the province of Jaén. The main occupation of its 6283 inhabitants is the olive harvest. Due to its rural and isolated context, there is a low rate of employability. In relation to our institute, it is the only education center in the area, housing 450 students from 4 towns and 45 teachers.

We start the Erasmus KA101 project «DESTINATION EUROPE: TOWARDS INTERNATIONALIZATION, INNOVATION AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT OF OUR CENTER», with a duration of two years (until December 2022) and with prospects of continuing with a KA2. Among the objectives we want to achieve:

1. Promote internationalization to improve the employability of our students. Get a network of contacts to develop a KA2.
2. Train teachers in cooperative methodology and gamification to improve academic results and motivate students.
3. Know the CLIL method (Content and Foreign Languages ​​Integrated Learning) and its application in other European centers.
4. Learn about good practices of attention to diversity in other European centers, to provide more personalized attention.

With these objectives in mind, we want to carry out four job shadowings in centres in France, Greece and Italy, in order to import good practices and improve our teaching competence. The different topics of interest will be the improvement of linguistic competence , gamification, active learning or motivational strategies such as Mindfulness, Content Integrated Learning and Foreign Languages ​​(CLIL) methodology applied to the teaching of Philosophy, Mathematics and Technology and tools to address diversity.

Similarly, the town will also benefit from this, by involving all members of the educational community and collaborating with the AMPA, local institutions and companies, and the Porcuna City Council.
